It is best known for providing the “CSCS card”, a widely recognised smart card providing evidence of a level of health and safety training relevant to the industry. All our operators who carry out cleaning at construction sites have gained this important qualification.

This certification has enabled our staff to receive a comprehensive information, instruction and training from industry experts on health and safety, COSHH (Hierarchy of Control), label compliance, environmental responsibility, legislation and best practice in the Softwashing industry.

Stonehealth systems have such a valued reputation with Architects, Conservation Officers and other specifiers, that less reputable companies have been known to claim that they have Stonehealth systems or are a ‘Stonehealth Approved Contractor’ in order to win contracts. We have gained our Rosette membership throughout hard work and dedication to the best practices within the exterior cleaning industry. We appear on the directory of the Stonehealth Rosette Approved contractors and are legitimately certified contractors that can use DOFF steam cleaning methods on all kinds of cleaning projects

A DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) is an official record stating a person’s criminal convictions record. They help to ensure that employers are making the right decisions during the recruitment process. DBS checks are especially important in finding suitable candidates to work with vulnerable groups, including children or elderly. All our staff working within such environment are DBS checked.

The Institute is the largest independent professional and educational body within the cleaning industry. Its primary purpose is to raise the status and standards of the cleaning industry through education leading to City & Guilds Qualifications. We are currently working towards receiving this accreditation and our mission is to receive this before the end of year 2022. This is a contractor accreditation scheme that assesses the health & safety competency of contractors. Clients have a legal obligation to ensure that contractors operate in a safe way. There is therefore a need to assess contractor’s health & safety arrangements, and increasingly this is being carried through Safe Contractor. Many large organisations now use Safe Contractor as their primary means of selecting contractors. Safe Contractor is effectively the clients approved contractor list. We are currently working towards receiving this accreditation and we are aiming to become fully accredited safe contractor by the end of 2022.
